newfs: ioctl (WDINFO): Invalid argument
   newfs: /dev/rsd2g: can't rewrite disk label
   
   Why does newfs want to rewrite the label? I don't have the source online 
   so I cannot easily check what happens.

ignore it.. it's just a warning that doesn't stop it from
working.  all the netbsd/sparc machines i run have filesystems
created with netbsd's newfs and all of them gave this error.
