	It seems to have gotten worse.  I'm having trouble doing any
data transfer.  Strangely  enough, ping -f works fine (reports the
errors, though), but if I ftp, doing a 'dir' will just hang until it
times out... reporting underruns all the time.

	Now... I have access to a VME ethernet, but I would suspect
that there are quite a few people who don't.

	This also means that I have to give up tape access whenever I
use the net (since I don't have an old kernel with VME ie1 config'd).
