i've had that happen a _lot_ in the past few weeks.

has anyone else ?  gdb is able to tell me it's a bus error, but,
there's nothing else (at this stage) to say.  oh, except that it
may happen when i'm pressing a key -- i'm not sure.

i may rebuild XsunMono with debugging symbols ...
