Hi
I have a 16 meg 4/100
Using the checklist that was in a previous archive, i believe
the problem is with bootparamd
I am attempting to netboot my sun from another host, and get this
far
>> NetBSD BOOT [$Revision: 1.4 $]
Using IP Address 123.124.125.119 = 7B7C7D77
boot: client IP address : 123.124.125.119
boot: client name: sparc
root addr=123.124.125.127 path=/d2/export/root/sparc
Can't open network device 'ie(0,0,0)'
open: netbsd: Unknown error: code 3436984
device[ie(0,0,0)]
and then the prompt
I am indeed booting off the ethernet BNC port, and the jumper is set right.
in the directory /d2/export/root/sparc
i have the entire archive, along with several kernels.
Is this a hardware problem?
The machine has 16 megs, but only tests 4. IS there an eeprom guide
for setting up the machine?
Thanks
Chris
