I'm pretty sure I've gotten it licked this time, and with no mmap(2) side
effects. The patch has been send-pr'd (but not ack'd yet). I've tested it
on all my sun4m systems, and I'm unable to panic them that way now, but
it's not tested on sun4 or sun4c. The patch also cleans up a small typing
irritant.
