At work, we have a SS1+ running SunOS (4.1.something). We had a bad
SIMM in it and SunOS told us exactly which socket it was in - U0590, I
think it was.

At home, I have a SS1+ running NetBSD/sparc. When I swapped the
known-bad SIMM in place of one of the SIMMs in it, I just started
getting random coredumps - I even tried putting it in U0590, just for
grins.

Is there anything I can do to help improve NetBSD's behavior in this
circumstance? I have a known-bad SIMM I can swap into any socket
desired. :-) Or has something already been done, and I just need to
run a more current version to get proper memory error reporting?
