Dear NetBSD Sparc list,
I am working with a Sun 4/100 preparing it to load NetBSD Sparc but when I
power up the machine it will not let me access drives other than "sd"
because of what looks to be a eeprom password lock if that is indeed what
the message is telling me. If this is so is there someway to defeat or
reset the password? The following is a printout of what I am getting from
the system on power up:
Selftest Completed...
Sun Workstation, Model Sun-4/100 series.
Type-4 Keyboard.
Rom Rev 3.0.2, 8MB memory installed, serial #4402.
Ethernet address 8:0:20:0:64:EF, Host ID 22001132.
Testing 8megabytes of memory... Completed.
Auto-boot in progress...
EEPROM boot device... sd(0,0,0)
sd: device not found.
>b xy(0,0,0)
PROM Pass:
As you see I am trying to boot a different disk and the system is
apparently asking for a password?
Any help would be appreciated.
