i have a 1.3.almost4 sparc system that i attempted to boot a 1.4 GENERIC
kernel on.  the kernel booted fine but hung when starting init, or
something.  like the old no /dev/console problem, only /dev/console is
there.  anyone have a clue what is wrong?  a 1.4 miniroot loaded from
sd0b works just fine, so it isn't 1.4 or the machine.
