Ok, the alignment fault should be fixed. The 'slop' junk will be taken out
and replaced with masks RSN, as it should have been...

Looking at the mail archive, I just noticed a couple of messages about
rcons being broken on port-sparc@. I know in my haste to improve things
I've broken quite a few things wrt rcons. Basically, this is my fault, so
if people can let me know about these things so that I can fix them ASAP,
I'd appreciate it.
