Sounds like kernel and OpenPROM don't agree on disks numbering.
To remount / read/write you can try:
mount -u -o rw /dev/sd0a /
and then:
mount /dev/sd0g /usr
From here you should be able to edit /etc/fstab and change sd1 to sd0
