Actually it will read a NetBSD disklabel. From the tail of the read
disklabel routine:

                        dlp = (struct disklabel *)(bp->b_un.b_addr + 0);
                        if (dlp->d_magic == DISKMAGIC) {
                                *lp = *dlp;

So if the right magic number is in the right place, away we go. :-)
