If it's a SUNW,DBRI thing, there is some work being done
(see http://mail-index.netbsd.org/cgi-bin/projects.cgi?token=&mode=viewproj&projnum=63 ).
The problem is that
- I am quite busy and do not have much spare time for this
  project,
- I do not have very much experience with _NetBSD/sparc_
  kernel programming,
- documentation both on the DBRI and on the kernel
  (including e.g. the config(8) syntax) could be better,
- and some questions posted to mailing lists have not
  been answered, so I had to do some research on my
  own.
