I just got a couple of dead Sun, Axil, and Integrix systems.
The Integrix seems to be an Ultra 1 SBus system and is labeled
HyperSPARC
The Sun machines are an SS4 (P/N 600-4002-01) and an SS20 (P/N
600-3329-01)
The Axil machines are labeled Axil 320 and Axil 311.
Some have disks, some have memory, some have neither.
The person that gave them to me said I might be able to make one or
two functional machines out of them.
My first question is where's a good online resource to ask the kinds
of questions I'm about to ask?
My second question is: What type of memory do this things use? Is
it the "normal" PC 72-pin EDO type of DRAM, is it a PC-66 SDRAM, a
PC-100 SDRAM, or something totally different.
Thanks for the info. With any luck, my SS1 will soon be replaced
with a little faster machine :)
