I did this on an SS1+ and it worked, but was a pain -- not something I
want to do every time.

I was wondering if it is possible to jam these MAC values in from a
running system, possibly with something like Solaris' "eeprom"
command.  If so, then it might be handy to do an initial boot from
floppy, set the MAC address, then finish booting from net. Or if I put
a disk in it, boot from disk and have one of the rc files jam the MAC
address.

Ideas?
