Hi,
IIRC I used a standard SCSI CD with sparcs without problems (I
did not boot from them). I like the plextor devices, but I cannot tell
why. I have a toshiba 2x CD drive that works perfectly. The only
SCSI CD devices I have seen that do no longer work are HP CDR
devices,
