Folks,
I've read the page at
<http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/cross/>, and I'm a little
confused. I signed up for an account with the Compaq Testdrive
program, specifically the NetBSD 1.5.1 system. I was hoping that I
could manage to do a cross-build of NetBSD 1.5.2/SPARC on this
machine, and generate new versions of the kernel image for the
boot/root floppies that are used during the installation process.
However, this particular cross-build configuration does not
appear to be supported. Nor is using NetBSD 1.5.x/x86 as the host
system (I've had another person offer me access to their NetBSD
system for cross-build purposes).
Also, I note that the cross-build system as it is outlined on
the page above requires the latest sources from -CURRENT, but for
obvious reasons, I would prefer to try to do this with the sources
from 1.5.2. Can anyone tell me how the instructions would change,
based on this different source version I'd want to work with?
Thanks!
