Sorry for the dumb post...
I had this problem with solaris 7.
I put solaris 7 in /dev/null and with NetBSD I just put the correct
"mediaopt" as 10BaseT and now everything works!

anyway from my tests I can compare my SPARC 10 to be as fast as my
VAXStation 4000/90 with NetBSD... I was a little bit disappointed about
this. Anyway I will make more tests using tscp program.
