Hi
I have been trying to install netBSD on a E220, the bootloader did not
come up properly. the keyboard freezes.
I was not able to follow the swap space technique as swap on my system
is slice 7 so nothing was coming up on boot.
Then i untarred the system onto a new disk with 3 partitions for /,
/usr, /var respectively, the bootblock that came on the cdrom (i
downloaded the iso from www.linuxiso.org) has problems making the
system boot.
i just got a mail that explains how the disk partitions on sun box are
like.
any dual-boot document available someplace?
incase i need a new bootloader to work, where do i pick a relevant one
?
my end objective is to have either netbsd or lfs on this box, so what
comes in process.
any pointers help would be greatly appreciated
kind regards
