Already did.  Doesn't work.

They are off almost all the time -- I can only work in one place at
a time!  :>  So, if I'm doing a board design (like now), I'm stuck
at a windblows box -- little need to keep NCD's running.  They 
throw off too many Watts (not fun if you live in the DSW  :<  ).

And the color units always scare the piss out of me when powering
up (degaussing coil) so I have a natural tendency to avoid them
if at all possible!  :>   (Besides, I can't really use color much in
the applications I develop for my line of work -- except as a
redundant window dressing)

If *not* stuck in MSland, I prefer to sit at one of the monochrome
NCDs.  Crisp screen, easy on my (aging) eyes, etc.  And, I see
no need for color when writing code!  :>  (syntax highlighting?)
