Can't imagine why it shouldn't, the only SPARC machine I know that has 
problems is the Tadpole SPARCbook range and only because their SCSI floppy 
driver attaches to anything on ID5 and locks up when it finds something 
else.
As far as OpenBoot is concerned the ZIP is just another SCSI removable 
drive so it should just work. ( my HP9000/345 boots from one too )
