The problem is that the 'text' set wouldn't be installed to the NFS space, it
would be installed locally.
hmmm... just mount the entire /usr from somewhere? i have machines
that run entirely diskless, eg:
splode:/export/root/goa 2022918 1484788 436984 77% /
splode:/export/share 2022918 1484788 436984 77% /usr/share
splode:/usr/pkg 1011119 760193 200370 79% /usr/pkg
for my arm machines i have an /export/arm/usr that i mount as /usr.
