i was compiling gmp so that i could compile SFS. i don't know what
happened, but the system seemed to freeze. this is the second time the
system has frozen during a compile.
however, unlike the first, this time, the system isn't visible on my
network. it should have reboot and come back on line, at least i'm
assuming, had it crashed, but for a day, it's completely unresponsive when
i ping to it. i could power cycle the unit, but i don't know if that will
yield any result as to the reason for the system freeze.
it's a sparc20, that has been working without issue for the most part, but
this time, i don't know what has happened.
any ideas?
