For those of you who are interested, the NetBSD-1.6.1/sparc binary package
build is in progress.  It has been running for approximately 2 weeks now
and I anticipate another 4 weeks for completion.  The binary packages are
being placed on the project ftp server daily so if you don't see a package
you want today, please check back later.  The system is currently building
#1911 out of 3536 or 54.0% done.  Note however, that this is 54% in
package count not time.

These packages are being built on a NetBSD-1.6.1 system using the
netbsd-1-6-1 pkgsrc branch.  As usual, the packages may  
be found at ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/packages/1.6.1/sparc/

The packages which are not available on the ftp server are those which    
have not built yet, failed to build, have licenses which prevent ftp
distribution, or have a known security problem.
