I'm setting up a UPS monitor, and looking in my notes I've got references
to "/dev/tty00" or "/dev/tty01", but I couldn't find any device like that
on this sparc. Then, thinking back, I've never installed this software on
sparc, only i386. Can I just substitute /dev/ttya for /dev/tty00, and /dev
/ttyb for /dev/tty01? (Could someone give me the history or reason behind
the difference in sparc and i386 wrt the names of the serial ports?) TIA
