From the SS5 clients, use xdpyinfo to see what extensions the server does
actually support.
Without using a XFree86 4.x based server, I'd be surprised if the server
provides GLX, as Xsun is basically the reference X server, I believe.
Even if the server has GLX, the client libraries have to support GLX as
well. Again, the default reference libraries of the old non-XFree86
implementation probably don't have that client support, but I may be
wrong.
