Yes, this is the TCX(S24) AFX for SPARCstation 5

I found some information here:

Which claims to be a patch to enable 24-bit accelerated framebuffer support
on the TCX under X11R6.4.  The patch and a readme are in the same directory.

This is fixable.  You just need to use rasterconsole, and point it at
the appropriate view of the framebuffer.

This is the S24?  (That's the only 24bpp tcx I know of.)  If so, a
little birdie gave me doc on it, which I believe is complete, and it
doesn't have a whole lot of acceleration.  I can cleanroom the doc I
have into a description of the interface if anyone is likely to do
anything useful with the result.
