FWIW: I updated my krups to -current, then rebuild /bin/sh natively
(with -mv8 -mtune=supersparc), installed that /bin/sh and started a
complete, native build.sh.

I have seen no core dumps. The build is happily going on (somewhere in lib
now), and will do so for quite some time, I guess.
