I have made the final version of the Essential NetBSD 3.0/sparc Binary 
Packages + Install CD available at:

The CD is bootable and contains install sets  for NetBSD 3.0/sparc 
plus a selection of precompiled binary packages to be installed via 
pkg_add. The README (appended below) contains a list of all included 
packages:

                                    What is it?

    The 3rd party software team of the NetBSD Project is proud to be able to
    provide a CD with the installation files for NetBSD 3.0/sparc and a
    collection of essential precompiled binary packages NetBSD 3.0/sparc.
    The packages on this CD are based on the pkgsrc-2005Q4 branch.

    The CD is bootable and contains all the install files for
    the NetBSD 3.0/sparc. To install binary packages from the CD,
    mount it under (say) /cdrom, then run:

      # PKG_PATH=/cdrom/packages/sparc/All
      # export PKG_PATH
      # pkg_add -v bash
      # pkg_add -v kde
