Is there a limit on the type of scsi drive you can
put into an SS5?
Not using the SCA port i used a high density adapter
to put disks into the floating cable that has an 80 pin
(i think) connector.
One disk worked fine.
The others not at all. I was surprised.
In the case of these probe-scsi showed nothing detected.
All the disks were modern looking 1 inch drives.
Maybe too modern?
I tried lots of scsi id's but to no avail.
thanks,
Paul.
