Whatever is easier - I'm not overly likely to have time to do this in
the next few days. Apparently we do some grovelling early enough
since sparc_ncpus is set correctly before we print the copyright
message ( the crash happens shortly after that ). I'm just not sure
if we can kmem_alloc() at that point.
