Floppy device name should be similar between all of those platforms, since they're all sun4c.

The SS20 is a sun4m, though.  Could there be any issues installing to a sun4m then moving the hard drive to a sun4c system?

Older firmware was an issue for me on an SS2 the last time I did a NetBSD install.  I was able to solve this by upgrading to the last firmware release.  Sadly, my IPC has a bad power supply, so I haven't tested different versions of the firmware with the NetBSD installer on that system.
