Re: separate boot partition - some doubts



	hello.  What if you go for the more traditional partitioning scheme:
/ (contains everything except /home, /usr and /var)
Then, create separate /home, /usr and /var partitions, possibly on additional disks or via nfs.
Then you'd have:

/ (512 mb)
swap (128 mb)
/var (384 mb)
/usr (1 gb)

This will let all of the native tools install where they expect and I think you can fit NetBSD
into 512mb of storage as long as you don't include /usr.
