I very much agree that you would want to try going back to the NetBSD
1.x days, if you can. I ran a 4/110 for a while with a cgfour in it and
it was able to run X and such. Sometime between 1.x and 4.x the Sparc
VME bus was rototilled and that may be where the problem is.
