Currently there is no support for booting NetBSD/sparc64 from CD. It
is on the sparc64 TODO list however and the hardware certainly will
support this. "
Unless you're seriously hard-core, It's probably not worth burnning to a
CD anyway, at least not until there's a bit more hardware support and
maybe sysinst ;-)
You should be able to create an INSTALL kernel, use mdsetimage to
install a miniroot into it and slap that onto a CD to boot from.
You may need to twiddle with the MINIROOTSIZE option to make the
image fit. The current 6MB should work with most miniroots on the
FTP server.
