The message in /kern/mesg are as follows:
Alignment error, pid=57 comm=more dsfsr=00000000:00800001
dsfar:ffffffff:ffffd1f 9 isfsr=00000000:00000000 pc=1bf6e0
Bus error.
There is an ifconfig.core file on which I did a more (!!) and it had the
message I always see:
uid 0 comm ifconfig on /: filesystem is full
/: write failed. ilesystem is full.
As I said earlier, I hit a roadblock when I ask the system to start an ftp
download [and it tries to configure the network interface..]
