good morning everyone!!
being all excited about the release of 2.0, i thought i would do my share and
put it on a box and play with it. this, of course, requires that i install
something else first, so i descided to go with 1.6.2.
not having the best luck however. i wrote the miniroot to disk from the copy
of Solaris9 that currently runs on the box:
dd if=miniroot.fs of=/dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s0 bs=4k conv=sync
then i try to boot it, and i get:
Rebooting with command: boot disk1:a netbsd -s
Boot device: /sbus/espdma@e,8400000/esp@e,8800000/sd@1,0:a File and args: netbsd -s
NetBSD IEEE 1275 Bootblock
.Inode not directory
Fast Data Access MMU Miss
ok
i'm clueless as to what the problem could be. any hints?
thanks!!
-brian
