I recently had this occuring on my ultra 80.  I do not know the root cause
and i'm booting from sd0 (ibm), but yanking the marginal fujitsu drive (sd1)
fixed the promblem.

it's fine with either of the other seagates that i have and i can boot solaris
off the fujitsu.  I think that is just a inquiry command, so i'm not sure why
it would fail and havent had time to look at it further.  sorry.
