'allo,
I've just recently gotten NetBSD 2.0 installed onto my Ultra2
SPARC. So far, things
are going fine. I used to have 1.6.2, but ended up using Debian Linux
for a while on
the system. I've now completely wiped out Linux and there is only NetBSD :)
I've got X11 installed, but am having a problem in that all my
xterms are getting flooded
with system messages. xconsole on the other hand, does not show
anything except for
the console login. This is behaviour that I have never seen on any
platform or system
that I have worked with before (and I've worked with a lot).
Changing syslogd.conf hasn't helped either. Yes I did restart the
syslogd daemon
after I made the changes.
Any thoughts or ideas on how to get around this ? This happens
whether I am running
X11 or not. It just impossible to work with NetBSD while this is going on.
cheers,
mehul
