OK now that I am at the office, I have double checked and yes, I have those
two lines commented out all ready. Just to be safe I rebooted the system
again.
I am still getting the messages as shown below:
Jan 20 11:29:18 batman last message repeated 2 times
Jan 20 11:29:29 batman ntpd[330]: kernel time sync disabled 0041
Jan 20 11:29:52 batman init: getty repeating too quickly on port
/dev/console, sleeping
Jan 20 11:30:26 batman init: getty repeating too quickly on port
/dev/console, sleeping
...
...
...
Any other ideas ?
