Not yet. It's being worked on though.

NetBSD/sparc64 in right in the middle of switching to XFree86 so not
everything works yet.

Hmm, the driver source seems to imply that only afb cards need firmware,
the Creators /should/ be able to do at least basic 2d operations without
firmware upload. ( and the ffb console driver seems to do just that )
