Sounds pretty close to the physical maximum, so the card is most likely
completely ok.

Then it's NetBSD's fault. I don't have the faintest idea how or why
though - my onboard hme gives decent throughput. Maybe the bridge on the
card isn't handled correctly for whatever reason.
