Was there previously a non-RAID file system on this disk? I had the same
problem when I installed my U60. Zeroing the start of the disk (with dd)
and re-installing fixed things but that's a pain to do. I wonder if
installboot needs to zero some bits of the disk so that the boot code
doesn't think there is a valid (non-RAID) file system on there.
