sunffb fixes
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello,
yesterday I finally got around to pull over some more ffb fixes from
xsrc/xfree, namely:
- - turn off the hw cursor on exit
- - redraw screen after unblanking on ffb1
While doing that I found out why the old bug that would produce bluish-
greenish artifacts when scrolling anti-aliased text vertically didn't
bite on Xorg even though they never imported my fix - simply because
hardware-accelerated alpha-blending didn't work at all. So I fixed
that, saw the bug again, fixed it again.
So, now Xorg's sunffb driver should be more or less equivalent to our
old xfree86 driver in terms of features and bugfixes.
Before I request pullup to 5.0 I'd like to see feedback from:
- - a few people who tested it
- - at least one person with an ffb1 to check if the unblank workaround
works - I only have ffb2+ boards so I can't test that myself.
have fun
Michael
