What bothers me is that eventhough the machine temporarily kept responding to ping, I can't break into DDB with serial console break. Serial break as such works, because I can interrupt booting by issuing a break in OFW before netbsd has assumed control. I take it break-to-ddb isn't somehow disabled in GENERIC.MP?
