With the supplied stuff in binaries tree of 'sun-lamp I wasn't able to build
a kernel for my SUN 3/50!
My development environment is build around a rather old SUN 3/60, that
runs SUNOS 4.1.x.
In order to get a clean environment I put everything in /development/sun3.
With 'chroot /development/sun3 /bin/sh' I created my own clean
environment that doesn't interfere with SUNOS. Of course I copied
all the necessary libraries and executables to this directory tree.
I get the following error(s):
mkdep:
../../../kern/exec_aout.c: 0: extraneous name ../../../../kern/exec_script.c
( more lines follow this one)
Question 1: Is this a real error or is it only a warning?
Also I noticed that the supplied 'gas' dumps core!
Question 2: does gas need a library that I overlooked?
This all leads to the following question:
Has anybody a kernel for a SUN 3/50 with 8Mb memory installed,
that can be ftp-ed?
Regards,
Harry Schreurs
