Possibly....I hadn't been bit by the bug in a few weeks, and even today,
running my load up to ~4, swapping like mad, the bug only hit once. ;-)

But it seems like the bug happens when there's lots of i/o going on...
and less physical memory certainly leads to this. ;-)
