As a starter has any one tried replacing the 20Mhz 68030 in a
Sun 3x/80 with a MC68EC30, which is claimed to be a pin/program
compatible with the 68030. It could be hopped up to the 40 Mhz
version of the MC68EC30. A 40 Mhz clock is right at hand.
The 68000 off chip interface is asynchronous already.
