Thanks to all who forwarded info on formatting with this critter. Now a
new (well, different) question...

Having still not found a matching plug for the infamous Dec 'hockey
puck' mouse, I decided to see if I could run the VS2000 from the VT330
that I have been using on my MicroVAX II/GPX. (real Dec console cable
and everything!)

So... I plug the cable in to the printer port (?) connection on the
VS2000 (9 pin D connector) and light it up, and get... garbage! One
or two nonsense characters.

I've tried just about every setting on the VT330 that I can think of,
and can't nail this one down. So... (finally) to the questions:

a) can the VAXstation 2000 be run "headless"?

b) is this the proper port for this (tried the comm <25 pin D conn.>
first and got no response at all.

c) what is the default comm rate (bps, parity, etc...)

d) anyone got a real cable (monitor/keyboard/mouse) out there that they
could be parted from?

e) eek!   B^}

Thanks!
