Hi
I was wondering if you could help me out? I have MicroVAX3100m20 and I
am trying to get NetBSD running on it. I was told that m20 is just
slower CPU than m30/40 so it should boot like m30 model. But it does not
work, the netbooting does work how ever but it stops when kernel has
been loaded.
Well, I run FreeBSD on 166mhz pentium and did all the things menioned in
http://www.carpediem.com/~brianc/projects/vaxen/VAXstation-netboot-HOWTO.html
This is what is shown on console:

It stops at this point but after this it does request the swap file and
xperfmon shows short activity on nfs.
This is from bootparamd:
whoami got question for 192.168.255.3
bootparamd: this is host vax
Returning vax 192.168.255.1
bootparamd: getfile got question for "vax" and file "root"
returning server:didda.est.is path:/home/netbsd-vax address:

After that I am only able to ping the host!
I removed memory card from the machine to work around bootproblem with
more than 16MB memory, and I have also tried to remove any removeable
add-on cards but no good yet.
