The weirdest thing about the RM80 is that it was DEC-built and yet came within
a few hundred feet of an industry standard!  Lots of petty differences of
course though.  Other than that it's not too different from the other RMs;
a bit faster, more cylinders than the others, and it had the "skip sector"
option, but otherwise it fits right in.  Each RM drive requires a slightly
different mix of minimum revs for the boards in the RM adapter anyway, I
guess DEC wasn't into the idea of having extra cyl/sector bits in the regs
for future expansion so they kept having to revise the boards (don't know
if that's the only difference though).
